The European MP and rapporteur for Albania, Knut Fleckenstein, gave a congratulation message for the EU decisions on Albania’s accession negotiations.
“Congratulations to Albania and Macedonia,” Fleckenstein says on Twitter. “The progress was recognized! The opening of negotiations is decided.”
Fleckenstein, the Rapporteur for Albania at the European Parliament, added that “the Conclusion of the General Affairs Council clearly encourages both governments and parliaments to continue with the reform process. Count on my support until we are united in EU”.
