Environmentalists oppose waste import

Environmentalist, professors and representatives of the Ministry of
Environment gathered for discussing the advantages and problems of the
draft law for the waste management, which allows importing waste
materials from foreign cuntries.
Sazan Guri proposed to remove the clause of the waste import from the law.
Prof. Dritan Shkupi demanded to stop the import of waste materials from abroad, since it is uncontrollable and many countries, like Italy, are facing big problems. But there have been opposing arguments too, with some of the present saying that the import of waste materials helps recycling companies, which are environmental friendly and will help us for the future.
