communes in Shkoder district, with 30.000 citizens, are still completely
cut off from the rest of the country.
The residents say that they are lacking of medicine and food. The most problematic areas are those of Dukagjin, where no food aids have been sent, despite the many requests by the residents.
The only aid sent to the three Dukagjini Communes was 40 packages for 800 hundred isolated families.
According to the heads of the Shale commune, Bale Vuksani, the residents of all villages in Dukagjin have created fields for the Helicopters to land, but none has gone with aids for this commune. The head of the Shale Commune has raised another concern, that of the destruction of 22 residences and two schools. Fortunately, there have been no damages in people.
The Shale and Sosh communes in Dukagjin and the Shllak, Qafe Mali, Fierze, Iballe, Blerim, Qelez, and Rrape in Puke are completely cut off, together with Vermosh, in Malesia e Madhe.
This Friday, there was an emergency at the Shkoder District, with a family from the Temal commune sought help after saying that they were starving for food. The entire family is evacuated with helicopter from the Temal commune to Shkoder.
