US Congressman Eliot Engel supports the operation of Kosovo Special
Forces for taking the control of northern border checkpoints.
“The action of the Prime Minister Thaçi for taking under control the border checkpoints was a right decision”, Engel declared.
In an interview for Voice of America, the well-known congressman appealed Serbia to recognize Kosovo independence as soon as possible.
“It is not right for Serbian goods to be allowed in Kosovo, while Kosovo goods are completely banned in Serbia”, Engel added.
