The energy production has dropped significantly after the prolonged drought of summer.
The Albanian Energy Corporation (KESH) says that the daily consumption reaches 20 million KWh energy. Our country can produce 14 million, and the rest is imported.
4.8 million are imported by CEZ Distribution to cover the network losses.
On the same time, from the agreement for exchanging energy with Kosovo, KESH is importing 500.000 KWh energy from the Kosovo Energy Corporation, while import from qualified consumers reaches 1 million KWh of energy.
The peak of the energy consumption is at 22:00, with 1 million KWh in the system.
According to KESH, the reserves of the Drin Dam have droppwed with 1140 GWh, while the Fierza level dropped from 289 cubic meters per second to 71.
The Koman Lake level is 174 meters, with a flow of 21 cubic meters per second, while the level at the Vau I dejes Lake reaches 76 meters, with 2 cubic meters per second.
