The Albanian Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, attended the Economic Forum
Albania-Norway and declared that Norway is the leading hydro power in
Europe, and leader in the world for building hydropower plants.
Speaking for the media, the Prime Minister valued the forum’s work by saying that he felt encouraged by the great interest showed by many Norwegian companies to invest in Albania’s power industry.
“Their major energetic enterprising is to invest in Albania, in the biggest hydropower project of the entire Europe, the Devoll Cascade. We also have interest for other Norwegian companies to come and participate in the construction of the hydropower plants in our country, for the development of which Albania will always have the green light”, Berisha declared.
According to him, the Norwegian companies have expressed great interest for investments.
