Emigrants return with children’s hard integration

Hundreds of Saranda children whose parents have returned from emigration
this year are frequenting the local schools of this town.

In two schools only, the number of children returning from emigration is 190. The return is related with the economic difficulties of their families in the Greek state, which has caused many problems for the children.

They had to adopt the new environment, and more than 80% of them had serious difficulties in pronouncing and writing Albanian properly. All these children are attending extra hours of Albanian grammar and other subjects with difficulties.

A grammar teacher says that the staff met problems with the arrival of this contingent, and months were needed before they could fix their language problem.

The Education Directory in Saranda declared that newcomers are registered each day, which shows a flux of Albanian emigrants who return from Greece. Lina
