Snow thickness has reached 1.5 meters in Peshkopia, and even 2 in some areas, blocking almost every rural road.
The movement has been even more difficult in the city streets, which are covered by the snow, although they have been cleaned.
Dozens of communes are isolated, and their situation has been discussed in the Emergency Headquarters, with the participation of the district MPs.
The local leaders have presented their requests, since many families have big difficulties with food and medicine.
The situation is getting worse due to the current blackouts, created by defects and electric wires that have been cut because of the snow.
