The Kavaja Court released the Mayor of Kavaja, Elvis Roshi, and considered his arrest as illegal.
The decision was taken today at the Kavaja Court, while Roshi’s supporters gathered in front of the court.
Roshi was transported to Tirana and detained under harsh security measures.
He was arrested this Sunday after the Besa-Tirana match. The arrest was made after a report made by Nevil Dede, the coach of Tirana FC, who accused the Mayor of physically attacking him and threatening his life in the dressing room.
Roshi denied the accusations for physical attacks, threats and resisting police.
