Electoral reform, Rama: Deadlines violated

The meeting was held this Thursday morning at the Socialist Leader office, who just returned from the US, invited by the State Department.

The SP Press Office announced that the Rama expressed his concern for the deadline violation after ending the electoral reform, and the necessity for addressing to substantial matters, such as corruption, the eradication of the impunity culture, the lack of functionality of the judicial system, the problems with the media and the respect of the human rights.

Mr. Rama guaranteed the EU official that the opposition will support all reforms that the country needs for progressing with the integration process at the EU.

On his behalf, the General Director for Enlargement, Mr. Sannino, asked the implementation of the Action Plan within the given deadlines, adding that the EU is monitoring the construction process of democracy in Albania.
