The opposition leaders sat in a joint dialogue table, which aims
unification and to inform the parties with the next steps in the
electoral reform process.

Gjinushi and Dule were absent in this meeting, but according to other leaders, this has nothing to do with their political position, but it is due to other personal engagements.

The contacts between the parties and the coalition will continue even with second level representatives, an element that according to Zogaj will guarantee full transparency.

“I want to underline the fact that the parties that were present in this table agreed to work as a unique political subject for the reforms, although they are separate parties”, Zogaj declared.

This meeting of the opposition, besides the electoral reform, had a special focus on the hunger strike of the Bulqize miners.

“The second problem is related with the great concerns and the terrible situation that is created in Bulqize by the miners’ hunger strike. For this, the representatives of opposition parties will contact with the strikers for supporting them and looking for a definitive solution”, Zogaj declared.

One day before, the Socialist Party leader, Edi Rama, listed the five main points on which they aim to normalize the political life in Albania and also the opposition action on the Parliament floor.
