A delegation of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe visited Tirana before May 8th local elections.
The pre-election delegation has one delegate from France, one from Georgia and is headed by Hana Richtermocova from the Czech Republic.
The delegation will meet the Foreign Minister Haxhinasto, the Interior Minister Poni, Election Central Commission chairman Ristani, and vice Mayor of Tirana, Dhimitri.
This delegation will also have meetings with representatives of political parties, representatives of international organizations, NGOs and media.
A second delegation will be sent by this structure of the EC in the country from 4 to 10 May to observe the elections.
