Eight months after sending propositions for amending the Electoral Code,
Democratic Party MP, Oerd Bylykbashi, reminds the majority once again
that the intervention must be done until February, when the Special
Commission for the Justice Reform will be complete.
“If the Socialist Party wants to make a game of drafts, we will do it with solutions of real electoral problems, such as criminals, illegal funding, safer voting, a quicker way to count ballots. These are our main problems”, Bylykbashi said.
As for decriminalization, which is one of the main requests of the opposition before the June 18th elections, Bylykbashi asked the suspension of the Mayor of Kavaja, Elvis Rroshi.
When asked if the same thing should be done with MP Dashamir Tahiri, Bylykbashi said that their cases are not similar.
“A forged driving license is not the same crime as human traffic, no matter how much the Socialist Party will try to make these look similar. Let’s leave it up to the CEC”, he said.
