Elbasan, taxi drivers protest

After the protest of the 8+1 Taxi Union in Elbasan, 4+1 taxi drivers also protested today by blocking the traffic.

Hundreds of vehicles drove in a demonstrative way in the streets of the city, stopping in front of the Municipality, where the handled a petition with some requests.

The taxi drivers say that they are heading towards failure and request extreme measures against unfair competition.

The protest has blocked the circulation in the city, to the point that the Police saw it necessary to intervene for returning the traffic to normality.
