The Prosecution of Elbasan has requested the suspension of the Tirana Court of Appeal Judge, Gjin Gjoni.
Based on the report made by the High Inspectorate of Declaration and Audit of Assets, the Prosecution has opened a case against the judge over hidden assets and forgery of documents.
The Elbasan Prosecution asked the Court to take measures for suspending the judge until the investigations are over.
The Durres Prosecution has made the same request against Ken Dhima, judge at the Court of Vlore, and Klorinda Cela, Judge at the Tirana Court, accused of hiding their assets.
The law provisions for these charges mount up to three years in prison.
