Elbasan is getting ready for the traditional Summer Day celebration.
Although there will be no major celebrations and gatherings due to pandemic conditions, the city is adorned with an atmosphere of positivity and hope.
The Municipality of Elbasan has foreseen small public organizations but strictly monitored so as not to cause gatherings.
“This is the second year in a row that the Albanian capital of Summer Day suspends the traditional celebrations.
A year ago Albania was in quarantine and the celebrations took place only in family homes. The Municipality of Elbasan has called on the citizens to avoid gatherings as health is the main issue “, said Vesa Liço, Deputy Mayor of Elbasan.
