Elbasan police officers donate blood

The Albanian red Cross asked the Elbasan Police to cooperate in raising awareness for more blood donations.
All police officers responded to this request and donated blood in the Police Directory offices.
Director Neritan Nallbati was the first one to donate, and he was then followed by his colleagues.
Doctors say that blood donation is one of the most humane acts for saving someone’s life.
Those who can donate are all people from 18 to 60 years of age with body weight more than 50 kg and in good health.
The donated quantity is 350-400 mg, which doesn’t affect the organism a healthy body can recover within 24-48 hours.
