A few days remain to the campaign and on May 8th, the citizens will start going at the ballot boxes. But Zonal Election Commission no.12 in Elbasan has had infrastructure
problems, more specifically, with the tables on which the votes will be
counted.
From 10 requested, the Central Election Commission has sent only six tables where the votes for the Elbasan municipality will be counted.
This city has 90.000 voters and the lacking of counting tables would double the time needed for the final result. The complaint was made by one ZEC members, representative of the Socialist Party.
The Elbasan Municipality has 96 voting centers, four of which are private facilities, but for their assignment there has been consensus between the parties.
