After a professor of the “Aleksander Xhuvani University” was arrested
for corruption, the rector of the university, Liman Varoshi, has
suspended the 61-year-old professor until the investigations will be
over.
The rector declared that he is open to cooperate and asked the students to report any corruption case.
“We have taken the necessary measures and we will leave less space for abuses. We guarantee that we will remove all corruption stains from our university. We have just approved an additional standard in the evaluation of the students. More importantly, we have established a task force that will make frequent inspections for the students’ progress and the way their tests are held”, Varoshi declared.
The delays of the results are another concern of this university, and for this reason, Liman Varoshi has ordered that the answers should be given within 48 hours, to leave less space for corruption.
