The celebrations of the Summer’s Day in the city of Elbasan started with
the annual fair. This is the 15th year that this traditional
celebration of Elbasan has become a national celebration.
The opening speech of the ceremony was held by Mayor Qazim Sejdini and Prefect Shefqet Deliallisi. The novelty in this fair was the artisan works, which have been much preferred by the citizens.
“I have been working with this for many years, and there are many requests, mainly from emigrants and the surrounding villages”, declared the artisan Farije Halili.
“I have created the artistic works with my own hands. I use several other jewels to turn them into earrings”, declares another, Aferdita Basha.
The participation in the 15th fair is very diverse. It will end on March 14th.
