Education Minister: “New budget, higher salaries for teachers”

The Minister of Education, Lindita Nikolla, reported at the Parliamentary Commission for Economy about the distribution of the Budget 2019.

Nikolla said that the budget raises salaries for teachers, will cover hiring more teachers for students with special needs, and will also be used for the transportation of students.

“The budget is 1.1 billion ALL higher. This is the second pay raise for teachers, at 7%. Our other promise is raising salaries with 40% by the end of the mandate”, Nikolla declared.
