Linda Rama: Between Family, Work and Albania’s Future After more than 40 amended laws, the Pre-University Education Law passed
today at the Parliamentary Commission of Media and Education.
The Chairwoman of this Commission, Valentina Leskaj, declared that this law has found consensus.
“I believe that this great work has brought a product of quality, with 40 laws amended. This is a law for the Albanian children, not for the political parties or for us that are here. I think that the Commission reached its goal”, Leskaj declared.
“One of the articles discussed in the last session was about secularism in schools, with more than 40 education institutions in the country. The MPs and representatives of the Ministry agreed that these institutions should open only after they will be proposed by the religious assemblies that are recognized by the Constitution. The law will pass soon in Parliament.
