The Minister of Economy, Nasip Naco, considered 2011 as a successful
year for the Ministry he leads, while announcing the annual analysis.
Mr.Naco emphasized the finalized project for the 400 KW inter-connections between Elbasan and Podgorice, as one of the biggest achievements of his Ministry.
He also underlined the reforms and the some important laws that have been approved for the energy and business areas, especially the new status of the energy bills as executive titles, the improved trade relations of Albania and the expansion of the privatization process.
Mr. Naco also mentioned the 300 concessions given for the construction of new hydro-power plants, but without answering to the question of how many of them had been built. As regards the power cuts in the recent month, he declared that they are caused by the network defects and high consumption.
