Linda Rama: Between Family, Work and Albania’s Future Doctors in Albanian districts have no modern equipments and the patients do
not trust them, making them to address to the Tirana University Hospital
Center even for simple services.
Prof. Dr. Spiro Qirko, a well known figure in the cardiology field, notices with great concern the lack of proper ECG equipments in other Albanian districts.
The European Association of Cardiology held a conference for the role of the ECG in determining diagnosis. For the first time, the results of six difficult examinations made by Albanian doctors will be evaluated by an international jury.
According ton prof. Qirko, the ECG is a simple examination, but with a high margin of error and that directly affects the diagnosis of the patient.
Foreign and Albanian doctors have exchanged experiences among them in cardiology.
