Easter, emigrant’s flux in border

45.000 Albanians have entered Albania from the Kakavija border checkpoint for the Orthodox Easter.
The border police authorities say that the number was 20% higher, compared to one year ago. This year there have been no queues, because the flux was distributed equally in some checkpoints.
During Friday night, the flux culminated with 7500 incoming citizens and the emigrants say that they had waited for 3-4 hours for the documents.
The traffic police has established more than 10 checkpoints in the entire territory along the roads that are connected with the border checkpoints for normalizing the traffic and preventing accidents.
The emigrant’s return is expected to start on Monday, when the Greek employees will return to work.
