Turkish Ambassador in Albania, Murat Ahmet Yoruk said today in a speech at a meeting of the Reconstruction Committee that President Erdogan has pledged to build 500 homes for “our Albanian brothers” affected by the earthquake, which will soon be realized.
“We have made our promise known at the Donor Conference. In January we had several earthquakes in Turkey and many people lost their lives. We also had problems at the Turkish border that delayed us in our contribution. But the project’s master plan is ready, it must be signed, and then moved to other procedures. This month the Turkish authorities will come to Albania for the bureaucratic procedures and after their completion the construction will begin at the end of March, ” ambassador Yoruk stated.
