The Public Procurement Commission changed the results of the Durres-Kukes maintenance bid.
Top Channel learned that the Commission disqualified the consortium led by the Turkish company, “Vendeka Bilgi”, and declared the second one as winner, a consortium made of Albanian companies.
The bid was held two months ago by the Ministry of Tranportation. After the procedure, the Ministry declared a Turkish-Indonesian company as winner, led by “Vendeka Bilgi”.
But the decision was opposed by the consortium that was listed second, which appealed it at the Procurement Commission.
According to this consortium, the company listed first did not complete the legal criteria and had offered a higher price to be paid by the budget and the Albanian citizens.
The Procurement Commission found this complaint valid and decided to change the results declared by the Ministry. The winners is now the Albanian consortium made of “Kastrati” and “Salillari”, whose bid was 8 million EUR lower.
