The Durres Commercial Road is being repaired, bringing to an end the
concerns of the Durres citizens for the destruction of one of most
characteristic and symbolic roads of the coastal city.
Four years after the 750 million ALL investment, the tiles will be covered by a more stable and more economic asphalt.
The previous investment with qualitative tiles in price, but not in longevity, gave a new image to the city that generated culture and progress, in one of the busiest streets for the locals and the tourists.
Seen from above, the Commercial Road seems like an anchor launched between the Adriatic Sea and the city.
The Commercial Road was rehabilitated in the end of the ‘90s by the USAID, the experts of which valued the strategic position of the Road and its influence in the development of Durres.
