A few hours from before UEFA decides about the October 14th match
between Albania and Serbia, the leader of the Albanian Football
Federation, Armando Duka, said for Top Channel what he expects from the
UEFA justice.
Although in Switzerland, together with the foreign lawyers and advisers that will represent us, the FSHF President, Armand Duka, explains that their presence in the commission is excessive.
“We shouldn’t even be in this commission. Serbia should be at the Commission of Discipline, and the result should be in our favor, without needing this commission”, Duka says.
The FSHF leader explained once again that all relations of the referees were in our favor, because they say how the match was interrupted and how it could not be continued anymore. As for the judge’s sentence for returning to the game, Duka says that it was clear that it was impossible.
Duka is convinced that Albania will receive three points.
“I am certain that the decision will be taken based on the regulation. If the decision will be affected politically, then I cannot predict politics”, he declared.
However, the plan B for the Albanian Football Federation is that of appealing the decision at the UEFA Commission of Appeal.
The UEFA President, Michel Platini, is still keeping cold relations with the Albanian Football Federation. Duka says that Platini’s declaration didn’t keep any side, it was simply distanced from the violence and defended the institution he represents.
“I don’t think that Platini is unilateral with this issue. It’s not in my thoughts. I think that his interest is only on a good competition. The relations remains as before”, Duka underlined.
