Drug network caught in Elbasan

Member of a drug distribution network have been arrested in the city of
Elbasan. The Chief of the District Police, Emir Vata, announced the
details of an operation code named “Tabakane 2”.
The police has seized 230 doses of heroine, 340 cannabis, 6 vehicles and 8 cell phones. Vata says that some of the arrested people have been convicted in the past for different crimes, between the January-February period.
The Elbasan Police arrested Eduard Muzhaqi on September 2011, who was part of this network. The other arrested people are Konstandin Llazar Piku, Arben Petraq Hysa, Altin Albert Çaka, Emiljano Durim Ramazani, Petrit Baftiar Bekteshi, Ilir Ibrahim Rrapi.
These people are arrested for production and possession of narcotics in cooperation, and for distribution more than once. The network that operated in Elbasan has been investigated by the police for several months. The agents are looking for other persons and inspecting their assets.
