Driver of killed Chief of Police remains in prison

The Court of Appeal has left in power the arrest measure for the driver
of the Shijak Chief of Police, Fatmir Hoxha, and has released the police
officer Kastriot Gosturani.
The two Shijak police officers were together with the late Adem Tahiraj on September 13th, when he was killed by Ilir Xhakja.
Gosturani and Hoxha are under investigation for power abuse.
The relatives of Fatmir Hoxha protested, considering it unfair. The relatives also declared that a member of the Court of Appeal has asked a considerable amount of money to free Fatmir Hoxha.
