Dritan Dajti, who is being tried for the murder of four police officers,
made a request to replace the Judge Panel, but it was rejected. Dajti
considers the judge panel incapable, biased and an obstacle to a normal
legal process.
He argues his request with the fact that the court is not holding any session and he doesn’t want to be tried without a defensive lawyer. But his request was rejected and he will be tried by the same panel.
For more than one year, all lawyers appointed by the court have refused to defend him. In these conditions, the panel decided that Dajti will be tried without a lawyer.
