After the agreement between the SP in power and the Reestablishment group from the DP opposition for the parliamentary investigation commissions, details were given on how they will act for those who interfered with the data of the TIMS system of border entries and exits from Albania.
The meeting was scheduled to be held on Wednesday, but was postponed on the grounds that an agreement had not yet been reached on the scope of the investigation of the two investigative commissions.
At the Conference of Chairmen, it was agreed that the Opposition should exercise the right to establish Investigative Commissions, starting with the reestablishment of two Investigative Commissions that were dismissed on October 12, 2023.
The Conference of Speakers has also reached agreement in principle on another issue that caused the blocking of the normal activity of the Assembly, namely the representation of those that the opposition appoints itself in the Reform processes.
The parties have agreed in principle that the Assembly set up a “Subcommittee for Reforms”, consisting of 4 members (2 appointed by Çuçi from the SP – 2 appointed by MP Bardhi DP).
