The plenary session of the parliament was interrupted today (Tuesday) after the strong debate between the democratic deputy Ervin Salianji and socialist Erion Brace, while the draft budget for 2022 was being discussed.
Salianji leveled strong accusations against the deputy Erion Braçe, saying that he was involved in crimes and has appeared in the police interceptions for the money laundering investigations against Rezart Taçi, by the Italian anti-mafia agencies.
He also insulted him by calling him ‘puppy’.
This has led to the immediate reaction of the socialist MP demanding respect and avoidance of insults. The socialist Brace then tried to approach Salianji who was speaking on the podium when the intervention of the security guards came and the session was suspended for a few minutes.
As the situation calmed down, the plenary session resumed, where Salianji and Brace spoke again. Brace denied the allegations against him, stating that he had never communicated in any way with wanted businessman Taçi.
