The leader of the opposition Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, has concluded the consultation meeting with president Ilir Meta on the date of the next elections, and held a statement for the media, saying that Albanians need elections more than ever.
Although he did not give a concrete date for the elections, Basha launched several accusations against the Rama government and emphasized that for the DP it is important that they be honest and free.
“Most Albanians want elections today and not tomorrow, they want solutions because they are tired of propaganda and fraud, citizens urgently need work and business needs urgent support. It is important for us that the process be free and fair. Yesterday is gone, tomorrow has not come yet, let’s start work immediately for today”, said Basha.
