The leader of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, in a statement to the media has raised concerns about the situation created by Covid-19 in the manufacturing businesses.

According to the DP leader, there is bad news for COVID-19 as the virus has advanced and manufacturing plants are the new hotbeds of infection. Basha added that was notified about this situation from Kruja. He required the closure of manufacturing plants to avoids the risk of infecting 70,000 citizens.
“Dear fellow citizens. Today we received some bad news. The virus has advanced to create new foci in several cities in the country.
“Only a slight increase in the number of tests confirmed to us that the more tests are done, the more infections are detected.
“In Tirana, Kruja, Lac, Shkodra, the virus has affected more citizens. Most of them are ladies and girls working in tailoring or other manufacturing units.
“A few days ago, I raised the concern that in a tailoring shop in Shkodra, employees were not given tests, although one of their colleagues tested positive. The Kruja case, published in the media today, is also very worrying. Three ladies were found infected in a manufacturing shop in Kruja, one of which also infected her son.
“It is unfortunate that the government acts too late. It is always prone to deny everything and then act. There is no more time for stubborn refusals without arguments! The government must order the closure of manufacturing units across the country. Along with them, all the places with large gatherings of employees should be closed”, stated Basha.
