DP’s Basha: Albania’s European future depends on the implementation of the 15 criteria

Democratic Party chairman Lulzim Basha shared a post by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen on the key priorities of the Zagreb Summit for the Western Balkans, which are the rule of law, democratic values, the fight against organized crime and corruption.

Expressing gratitude for the European Union’s assistance against COVID-19 and for solidarity to help Albania’s economic recovery, Basha stressed the importance of implementing the key priorities of the Zagreb Summit for the Western Balkans.

“During the EPP Summit in Zagreb, I reconfirmed the PD’s commitment to the vital process of European integration and the guidelines of 15 conditions. Our European future depends on the implementation of these conditions,” said the opposition leader.

According to the Democratic Party, their main goal for the country carrying out free and fair elections, uninfluenced by corruption and organized crime supported of the current government.
