One day after Tony Blair visited Tirana, the Democratic Party accused
the Rama government that he has lied the Albanian people by saying that
the consultant chosen by him will do voluntary work.
In a press release, Parliament Member Aldo Bumci asked Rama to make transparence regarding the spending of the most expensive consultant in the world.
“Rama has not denied the declaration released by his consultant so far. One of them is saying the truth, and this appears to be the former Briths Prime Minister, and Rama is lying. The British have an expression which says that there is no such thing as a free meal. Mr.Rama knows this very well that the most expensive consultant in the world has a charter that costs 7.000 EUR per hour, and he cannot offer free service to the Prime Minister and the Albanian government. Mr.Blair knows that he will be paid. Why did he tell the Albanian people that Blair will work for free? What is he hiding? Why isn’t he making any transparency regarding the most expensive consultant in the world? Who are the donators that cover the spending of the British Prime Minister. What interests do they have in our country. How will they be repaid for the generosity?”, Bumci declared.
