The Democratic Party says that Tirana’s Mayor claim of having won the
trial against DP regarding December 8th protest, is a recycling of low
lies.
“The Administrative Court repealed the seven acts of Erion Veliaj, as if the popular protest had caused 172 million ALL of damage in the city. The court found Veliaj’s claims as unfounded, who said that the DP had to pay every cent”, the opposition leader says.
DP says that the court accepted the argument of their representatives, saying that the damage were fruit of the Mayor’s fantasy and that they did not really take place.
“Besides this, Veliaj’s fine was a clear falsification for which he should be criminally prosecuted”, the DP concludes.
