The Democratic Party PR Secretary said in a press release that the
opposition urges the government to look into the case of Pellumb
Marnikolli, the Albanian citizen who died in a Greek police precinct.
“Marnikolli’s relatives testify he entered a Greek police precinct on August 3rd and came out dead. This shocking event deserved justice and punishment for anyone who is responsible”, Duma said.
She added that justice and transparency would comfort the relatives and would help relations between both countries.
“This is a duty of the Prime Minister, who has stayed silent. We urge him to fulfill his job requirements and ask Greek authorities to conduct a thorough investigation, in order to bring to justice those who are responsible for the death of Pellumb Marnikolli”, Duma declared.
