After the ultimatum of ambassadors Lu and Vlahutin, the Democratic Party
requested time until Monday to decide about the drafts of the justice
reform.

“The anti-corruption component and the reform will be voted, but not as Edi Rama had requested it in the beginning. If the final draft changes from that of Edi Rama, this will remain to be seen”, said MP Eduard Halimi during the meeting of the Special Commission.

The Chairman of the Commission, Fatmir Xhafaj, said: “They have been absent for so many times with justifications, in order to avoid doing their homework. For me it is important for the opposition to understand that there is no other alternative rather than voting the project”.

On the other hand, the Head of the Socialist Parliamentary Group, Petrit Vasili, expressed the readiness of this party to vote the reform. “The only political stance in this phase is voting without hesitation”, he said.
