The Democratic Party MP, Eduard Selami, former founder of the Democratic
Party of Albania, said for the Voice of America that his vote goes in
favor of the justice reform, based on the proposition of the US State
Department Assistant Secretary, Victoria Nuland.
Selami says that although he has supported Basha so far, there is no reason to not vote the reform. Basha himself, he says, will suffer consequences if he doesn’t vote it.
Selami says many Parliament Members of the Democratic Party think they should vote in favor, since this vote is for an European future of Albania, against corruption.
