The Chairman of the Democratic Party Department of Immigration and
Diaspora, Bardh Spahia, attended a visit in USA where he met with
leaders of Albanian diaspora and local politicians.
In a meeting with the New York Senator, Marty Golden, Spahia valued the US role with the decriminalization and justice reform process, and emphasized that PM Rama and his power are withholding the entire system by wanting to turn justice into the service of the government and its interests.
Spahia updated Golden with the efforts of the DP leader, Lulzim Basha, to implement the decriminalization process and to denounce criminal affairs.
He also presented to the US Senator the program of the DP for making the country recover the crisis, focusing on the anti-corruption strategy for freeing the state from crime, and by reducing the fiscal burden through establishing a more favorable business climate.
In a meeting with the Thomas Calabrese, Mayor of Cliffside, New Jersey, Spahia received the highest consideration for the Albanian diaspora as an important factor with political and social developments of the USA, and underlined that the DP has a program for the integration and for the role of the Albanian community in the USA.
