The Democratic Party reacted today to the accusations of the Socialist Party, who say that the DP has not declared 1 million USD they used to pay a lobbying company in the USA.
DP says that the lobbying contracts are public documents filed at the US Justice Department, audited and controlled by them”, the DP says.
The declaration says that Balla and Gjylameti are welcome to investigate them at any time.
“The DP will offer them a copy whenever they want. They can take Saimir Tahiri, Agron Xhafa and Moisi Habilaj at the investigation team. Removing attention from the criminalization of the Socialist Party serves only to the crime and has no public interest. Taulant Balla and Blerina Gjylametaj must be more concerned about the fate of their party, which has been captured by crime”, the DP says.
The opposition’s biggest party says that these moves will not cover the deeds of Saimir Tahiri, Vangjush Dako, Qazim Sejdini, Elvis Rroshi and Edi Rama, who, according to the DP, are plunged in crime and drug traffic, putting in danger the national security, political system and the economic future of Albanians.
