The General Secretary of the Democratic Party, Arben Ristani, returned
this Monday to the accusations against PM Rama and accused him of paying
80.000 USD of criminal origin just for a picture with US President,
Barack Obama.
Ristani accused the Prime Minister of staying silent in a time where the biggest newspapers around the world have written about this issue.
He underlined that the Prime Minister has the obligation to appear in front of the Albanian people and public opinion for a series of questions.
“Where did he get the 80.000 USD paid for the picture with Obama? Who donated them? Are these legal money or do they come from criminal activity? These are the questions that Edi Rama cannot avoid”, Ristani said.
