DP: Protests until Meta resigns

The Democratic Party will not stop the protests until their request for
the resignation of the Parliament Speaker, Ilir Meta, is fulfilled.
The Democratic Party structures gathered in the early hours of this Friday and decided to continue with the protests every Thursday in front of the Albanian Parliament.
The Youth Forum of the Democratic Party will hold daily protests in various cities.
The Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, confirmed his agreement with this decision.
“The country has taken a wrong direction and the Rama-Meta duo are the ones to be blamed. Crime has returned into the system and has been established among the highest government ranks. Our request remains the resignation of Ilir Meta. Only this can create the conditions for a fair investigation from the Prosecution We will continue with protests until Meta is resigned. He is not a Parliament Speaker anymore. We invite the citizens to join the protest as they did one day ago”, Basha declared.
