DP proposes amends against Koco Kokedhima. SP: “Justification to block reform”

In the past governments there have been only two cases when MPs have had
their mandate removed because they have received public funds when
elected: Ilir Beqja and Koco Kokedhima.

When speaking about the law amend that doesn’t allow them to run in the future, the opposition spoke also about the way how they see the state that was built by Edi Rama.

“This is the state that goes through Saimir Tahiri of Habilaj, Koco Kokedhima of Balilaj, and the sons of Bala to Veliaj, Rama and Shullazi”, Edi Paloka declared.

The majority answered back with the same tone; “What state do you want to bring back. The one of 1998, when you carried out a coup? For Gerdec? January 21st?”, Ruci answered.

But now, with the constitutional amends for the justice reform, the opposition’s amendment could be a new moment for not allowing dialogue.

“Rather than coming here and contribute, you make up justifications because you know that with the justice reform you’d be the one to be punished”, said Gramoz Ruci of the SP.

“Ministers are feeling nervous about this reform. They are shaking. This was said yesterday”, said Edi Paloka from the DP.

“All I can say about what the US Ambassador said after the meeting with you, is that you are the ones avoiding the justice reform. No alibi will save you from the justice reform, not Shullazi, not Berisha”, Rama said.

Berisha replied by saying that the DP will vote for the reform, but not for the one that turns the government into Chief Prosecutors, Judges and Investigators.
