A group of former founders and leaders of the Democratic Party from
Lapraka joined today the opposition’s Socialist Party and their
“Albanian Revival” program.
The participants discussed the need to change the government and start a revival process in all sectors.
“I am the first leader of the Democratic Party for Fierze, in 1991. I have worked for 22 years, but being disappointed by their program, today I will become member of the Socialist Party. Together with their leadership and Edi Rama I will contribute in the victory of June 23rd”, declared prof.Gjovalin Mirashi.
“As a mother I want the revival for the tomorrow. I want safety and equal chances for my children.W e cannot stay with a group of people who do not react because of their ideal. The only ideal is our country, which needs a revival”, declared Vera Laci.
Edi Rama thanked the participants and declared that their action to join the left wing as emancipation.
“A new era is coming in Albania, with which we will overcome the gaps created by the politics of grudge and anger, which has been endlessly fed by the Democratic Party leader”, Rama declared.
Rama also underlined the fact that with the victory of SP and the DP in opposition, even the DP will be revived.
