Linda Rama: Between Family, Work and Albania’s Future The Democratic Party gathered today its structures in a meeting where
they discussed the organization of the June 23rd elections.
By the end of the meeting, DP leader, Sali Berisha, expressed his strong conviction for victory in the third mandate.
“A great enthusiasm is today in the Democratic Party basis, its structures and supporters, for a deep victory in the elections of June 23rd”, Berisha declared.
Berisha said that his government will unblock the three integration laws in the next mandate, which were blocked by the opposition.
“The government fulfilled all reforms which enabled the European Council to recommend the status. But Edi Rama blocked them with his votes, so that Albania could not receive its status”, Berisha declared.
Berisha declared that after hearing that Brussels would not create a report for Albania, Rama made a series of moves to cover the eyes of the Albanian citizens.
“The truth is that if he will not vote those laws, they will be voted by the sovereign with the referendum during the next DP mandate”, Berisha declared.
The Prime Minister declared that the Albanians will trust once again to the Democratic Party for the country’s government.
According to Berisha, this is the only political force that keeps promises; that made the country a NATO member; that liberalized the visa regime; guaranteed economic growth and doubled wages and pensions.
