The Democratic Party had a meeting with journalist today, in which they said that the government has captured the three powers, and the fourth as well, which is the media.
“Our problem is that the media has been captured. The solution is to liberate the entire society, democracy and media as well”, Basha said.
For Lulzim Basha, the media outlets are not reporting the public’s best interests, but those of politicians.
“Our problems are the security of journalist; self-censorship due to political pressure, and the direct or indirect dependence of media from government money. Another problem is that the media outlets are being used to advance with their economic interests, not for the public”, Basha declared, claiming that the opposition is even replacing the media.
